The landscapes  I paint are from places I have been or are from places meaningful to a  client, but sometimes I paint them "just because". Working with a client to create a painting that is meaningful to them brings me a lot of joy because I know they have special feelings about the place and I am helping them to preserve those memories.  I love knowing that I have created a work that will be treasured for the memories or emotions it evokes.
